One of the earliest observations I made about the Internet — and it has stood the test of time — is that it's full of "chaff" as opposed to yes, "wheat". Driven by people, most things you come across are ephemeral. Anybody is a "friend" until deleted with the click of a mouse. Isn't that funny? I exist not to "react" to a stranger or zombie's itch for instant gratification, data, or pigeonholing me to appease one's stereotypes, ignorance, or miseducation. Rather: to live off my own complex inbox and to-do list of values and aspirations a huge chunk of which involve sharing and working with genuinely progressive "hands-on" people. Everybody is responsible for their own choices, excuses, self-scrutiny and vision—or lack thereof. Read the "fineprint" because I have always disappointed those who read but then mistook my words as...words.

As to gentleness or generosity, it'd be disingenuous of me to claim "I'm a kind person" as so many internet profiles do. One of the surest tests of kindness is "the test" of friendship.

I believe if you consider yourself a friend (as opposed to an "acquaintance"), family, or companion, then you must make yourself useful in all human endeavours. Otherwise, you're fake. And the word "friend" is not something I throw around like a frisbee unless you can back up your words and show me reliability like I can break my back exemplifying the same to you, your loved ones, or helpless stranger. For example, I see nothing practical or "friendly" about turning off all phone lines to selfishly enjoy my sleep while my family or "friend" in need try without success to reach me at 3AM. 'Got the gist? Therefore, with honesty of purpose and graciousness, have the courage and social skills to engage me in constructive conversation. But bear in mind: except for my PII (personally identifiable information), what you see here is precisely what you get. I am a direct, detail-oriented, straight-shooting, say it plain sort of fellow. I do not suffer fools (& phonies) gladly. And I take a good constructive critical jab or jibe anytime even as I am known to dish out the same without hesitation — in good faith or nasty, if pushed. That means, you probably won't like me if you have a naive, bigoted, nationalistic, or cultivate an overly superficial view of the world — and too much in love with yourself. GENUINE PEOPLE (only) wanted.
